08 Aug 1950

1950 - Notes from Scorebook
"Both teams fielded 12 players"

1954 - Notes from Fiddlers AGM
"August Tuesday provided a very enjoyable game against Burnham. Fiddlers 139 and with Burnham 74 for 7 the spectators retired to the bar but as the next wicket did not fall until 136 the game took a new lease of life. The long partnership ended when our fast bowler bowled the longest of long hops to take a wicket and give the Fiddlers eventual victory by 2 runs"

Chalfont St Giles Cricket Club

Cookham Dean Cricket Club

02 June 1952

1954 - Notes from Fiddlers AGM
"Fiddlers played at Cookham Dean on Whit Monday and turned out a team with the greatest beer drinking capacity to date! The effort was further enhanced when Tom Grace arrived with a car load of extra people which added nothing to the playing strength but added at least 60 pints to the team's volume.
As usual, on Bank holidays, we had our two representatives from Slough CC playing, thereby reducing the batting effectiveness of the Fiddlers to 9 men. The result need not be mentioned!"
